Concept
The architectural redesign of Kos Aktis Art Hotel in Kos town by 1525 Architecture Studio (Dimitrios Sergentakis) refreshes an iconic seafront boutique hotel, redefining its connection to the coastal landscape. At the heart of the project is the landmark H2O All-Day Bar Restaurant, designed right on the water, where structural clarity, glass elements, and Aegean light merge with the sea.
Design Approach
Clean lines, absolute transparency, and a minimal aesthetic. The design highlights the feeling of "floating" above the water. Natural wood, refined metal details, and tactile fabrics combine seamlessly to offer quiet luxury, functionality, and uninterrupted views across both the restaurant and private guest balconies.
Furnishing by K2 Contract Furniture
K2 Contract Furniture delivered the complete FF&E solution through bespoke joinery and tailored contract furniture. We engineered and supplied specialized sunbeds, armchairs, and dining chairs for the outdoor areas, room balconies, and the H2O restaurant. Every piece was built to rigorous contract specifications, ensuring maximum durability against harsh coastal conditions (saltwater exposure, intense sunlight, humidity) and heavy daily use.
Result
A modern, art-inspired waterfront destination where architectural transparency, dining by the sea, and tailored furniture by K2 Contract Furniture create a refined, holistic hospitality experience.
